THE TAJ MAHAL
-THE HISTORY
Shah Jahan had enough money to support the taj Mahal, but over the centuries, thr Mughal lost its riches and the Taj Mahal fell into ruin. For many, the Taj Mahal was nice so they plundered it.
It was Lord Curzon, who put an end to all this and he worked to restore it.
The Taj Mahal has once again become a magnificent place, with 2.5 million people visiting each year. In 1983, the Taj Mahal was placed on the World Heritage List by UNESCO.
