Frank Owen Gehry, (born on February 28, 1929) is a Canadian-born American architect, residing in Los Angeles.
A number of his buildings, including his private residence, have become world-renowned attractions.
Gehry's best-known works include the titanium-clad Guggenheim Museum in Bilbao, Spain; Walt Disney Concert Hall in downtown Los Angeles; Louis Vuitton Foundation in Paris, France; MIT Ray and Maria Stata Center in Cambridge, Massachusetts; The Vontz Center for Molecular Studies on the University of Cincinnati campus; Museum of Pop Culture in Seattle; New World Center in Miami Beach; Weisman Art Museum at the University of Minnesota in Minneapolis; Dancing House in Prague; the Vitra Design Museum and the MARTa Herford museum in Germany; the Art Gallery of Ontario in Toronto; the Cinémathèque Française in Paris; and 8 Spruce Street in New York City.
It was his private residence in Santa Monica, California, that jump-started his career. Gehry is also the designer of the future National Dwight D. Eisenhower Memorial.

-THE WALT DISNEY CONCERT HALL

The walt disney concert hall at 111 South Grand Avenu in Downtown of  Los Aangeles, California, is the fourth hall of the Los Angeles Music Center and was designed by Frank Gehry. Itopened on October 24, 2003. Bounded by Hope Street, Grande Avenue, and 1st and 2nd Street, it seats 2265 people and serves, among other purposes, as the home of the Los Angeles Philarmonic orchestra and the Los Angeles Master Corale. The hall is a compromise between an arena seating configuration, like the Berliner Philarmonie by Hans Sharon, and a classical shoebox design like the Vienna Musikverein or the Boston Symphony Hall.
Lillian Disney made an initial gift of $50 million in 1987 to build a performance venue as a gift to the people of Los Angeles and a tribute to Walt Disney's devotion to the arts and to the city. The project was initiated in 1987, when Lillian Disney donated $50 million. Frank Gehry delivered completed designs in 1992 and was completed in 1996.
